WORDPRESS DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT FOR DOCTORS AND PRIVATE PRACTICES
A medical website doesn't need to be complicated. It does need to be carefully thought through: patients should be able to find the information they need, every service should have its place, and keeping the content up to date shouldn't become another task on your list.
I design and build WordPress websites for doctors and private practices. Sometimes I start with a blank page; other times I work from a design that's already been created. Either way, I make sure the finished website works as well as it looks.
Here are a few projects I've worked on.
Dermatology · Full design and development
I designed and built Noelia's website around her new visual identity, covering the main pages, blog and layouts for different screen sizes.
I also set up online payment for the “Renueva tus recetas” prescription-renewal service, including payment processing and automated purchase emails. The visual design and the practice's specific requirements needed to work together on one website.
Interventional cardiology · Website design and structured content
For Gibacor, I handled the website's design and development, including adapting the visual identity for the web.
A key part was creating a dedicated section for cardiology procedures. Each procedure has its own page, and new entries appear in an organised listing without having to rebuild the layout each time. It's a structure designed to accommodate new content as the practice grows.
Traumatology and orthopaedic surgery · Bilingual development
The visual design was supplied for this project. I took care of turning it into a complete WordPress website, with Spanish and Catalan versions.
I built the page layouts and adapted them for different screen sizes, keeping the structure, links and navigation consistent across both languages.
Psychology and psychotherapy · Development and tailored content
I developed Débora's website from an existing visual design, adapting it for different devices and building the pages for her professional work and research.
I also created a structured area for videos and media appearances, with categories and listings that make it easier to add new material without rebuilding the pages. The project included setting up the website for multiple languages.
Every medical specialty has different services, treatments and information to present. That's why I don't approach every website in the same way.
I can take care of the design and development from the start, build from a design you already have, or rebuild a site that's become difficult to maintain. My priority is well-organised content and a WordPress setup that doesn't create more work between appointments.
It's about building what your practice really needs, not adding features just because they're available.
